The Sponsor in Turkmenistan should send a Sponsorship Letter (attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Turkmenistan) to the Embassy in New Delhi, through official channels.
Thereafter, following documents are required:
The Applicant should have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of application.
Photocopy of the biodata pages of the passport.
Two visa forms (photocopy allowed).
Two passport-size photographs.
A Covering Letter from the Applicant.
Confirmed onward/ return air ticket.
Onward Country visa.
Proof of funds.
Bank statements for the last 6 months.
Income Tax Returns for the last 3 years.
Business
 The Applicant should have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of application.
Photocopy of the biodata pages of the passport.
Two visa forms (photocopy allowed).
Two passport-size photographs.
A Covering Letter from the Indian Organization.
A Letter of Invitation from the Business Associate/ s in Turkmenistan (attested by the Ministry of External Affairs) should be sent directly to the Embassy.
Confirmed onward/ return air ticket.
Onward Country visa.
Proof of funds.
Transit
 The Applicant should have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of application.
Photocopy of the biodata pages of the passport.
Two visa forms (photocopy allowed).
Two passport-size photographs.
A Covering Letter from the Applicant.
Confirmed onward/ return air ticket.
